Commercial Leasing Company, a subsidiary of LOLC with about 30 branches has been given the green light by their management to offer Islamic Finance. The ground work is being done and very soon Commercial Leasing will enter into Islamic Finance market in Sri Lanka. This will strengthen the LOLC Islamic Finance arm which has been aggressively promoting Islamic Finance through the network of its 39 branches.
Systems are being developed and existing staff will be trained in Islamic Banking at LOLC.
